The final project for A-level Photography, shot in a pine wood in April 2024 and printed at A2.
A single figure returns again and again among the trees, standing, sitting or bowed, always small against the trunks. The project is about solitude, and how a landscape can shelter a person or swallow them.

She stands at the right of a clearing, small and pale against the dark trunks. The vertical pines fill the frame like bars, and the empty ground in front keeps the viewer at a distance.

The darkest frame of the project. A figure stands bowed beneath low branches at the centre, almost absorbed by the wood, with only a little light reaching him.
